How does Creative Kids online Music Services work?
The music service program will be delivered via technology creating an immersive online experience where children can interact and explore their creativity in a musical environment. These outcomes include interactions such as music participation, singing, song creation, improvisation, movement, communication, turn-taking, and mindfulness – all within a new technological medium.
Moving the traditional model of face-to-face sessions into a digital online service will provide participants a safe option (particularly during the Covid-19 pandemic) to explore creativity and expand capability using a new modality.
What is required to participate online?
Prerequisites for participants will be internet access and suitable equipment for the session (PC/Laptop/Tablet). The platform for delivery will be Zoom meetings, providing the participants additional experiences with one-on-one communication in an online environment. Creative Kids Vouchers are applicable to residents of NSW.
How long are the sessions?
The online program consists of a minimum of 6 sessions, 45 minutes each, and will rotate through a range of the activities mentioned above and provide the participant various opportunities for skills development and creative outlets.
Hours will be: Monday to Friday, 8am to 7pm (by appointment).
